There are thousands of reasons why we like art.
But I think we are all drawn to art, not because it’s beautiful or interesting, but because it’s a manifestation of something else: of longing, hope, devotion, love, or sadness… whatever you want to call it.
When I sit alone in a room reminiscing about my grandmother, I listen to music. When it’s really bad, I paint. Not because I could find her there, -I never find her there-, but because loving a grandparent and loving art, music, nature, etc are different manifestations of the same thing, of a more pure and beautiful world, of the place we want to be.
What we lost may not be there anymore, but the other manifestations live forever.
I wonder if you can relate.

Yukitchen project
I'm still not quite sure if I should share this here with you: it feels like being naked! But Yukitchen is my very first online project that I built back in 2013, and it was the very beginning of my art-making journey. I didn't know anything back then. I...
