This was the very first watercolor painting I did when I lived in Bangkok.
Bangkok was a pure mystery. Some days I felt like I could do anything, -that led me to go on youtube and learn how to paint watercolor. But most of the days I was like a headless chicken, eager to find its own food. Everyone else around me had such cool jobs and hobbies, and I wanted to be just like them.
The painting looks unoriginal as if someone else had painted this for me. Well, I don’t blame it; -it looks so “undone” now that I look at it.
But I wanted to share this with you today, because if I hadn’t met any of my people I met in Bangkok, I doubt that I ever tried to paint. This painting must have to look undone because it is undone, just like me.
