I couldn’t help stopping a moment to take in the sunset, which pained the sky behind of the Baltic Ocean in vermillion and I was so certain that this was the color I wanted to wear for a special occasion; – but then I winced, because no matter how magnificent a dress is, your hand will never glow orange in its light. In this Baltic sunset my hands seemed have been dipped in some sort of iridescence, and it changed the colors depending on how I looked at it.
I raised them up and gazed at them for the longest moment, and let the beauty of life crash into me.
